How It’s Made

Designed to organise. Built to last. Graphite Modular products are made in a controlled print-farm workflow so every setup fits, stacks, mounts, and runs the way it should.

From print farm to workshop

We build every order with practical repeatability in mind: calibrated equipment, consistent materials, and quality checks at the points that matter most in real use.

The workflow, step by step

  1. Step 1

    Design for fit

Every model is tuned for repeatable assembly, latch action, pin fit, and full system compatibility.

  2. Step 2

    Print with consistency

Machines are calibrated and materials are controlled to keep quality consistent from batch to batch.

  3. Step 3

    Quality check

We inspect key functional points including hinge alignment, latch movement, pin seating, and visual finish.

  4. Step 4

    Assembly

Hardware and moving parts are fitted, then function-tested before packing.

  5. Step 5

    Pack and dispatch

Orders are packed to protect edges and faces, with dispatch windows shown clearly at checkout.

Materials that match the job

Standard: PETG

Strong and durable for everyday workshop use with dependable performance.

Professional: ASA-CF20

A rugged, matte-finish option with enhanced performance for tougher environments.

About 3D printed finishes

3D-printed parts can include subtle layer lines and minor variation between batches. We focus on functional fit, consistency, and predictable quality so your storage system works reliably day after day.

Inside the print farm

Our workflow is organised around repeatability, clean handling, and clear QC gates so lead times remain stable while product quality stays high.

  • Repeatable calibration routines
  • Material handling and drying process
  • Batch QC and final assembly checks

Print Farm

A clean, repeatable production setup with calibrated printers and controlled material handling.

Vision encoder used for printer calibration and micron-level accuracy

Vision Encoder

High-precision printer calibration system used to maintain dimensional accuracy down to 5um.

Timelapses and assembly media

We are building out more behind-the-scenes media, including full print timelapses, latch assembly close-ups, drawer-slide demos, and mounted system walkthroughs.

FAQ

How long does printing take?

It depends on footprint, height, and demand. Dispatch windows are shown on product pages and checkout.

Do you post-process parts?

Yes. We remove supports where needed, inspect parts, and assemble functional hardware before dispatch.

Why do some parts show layer lines?

Layer lines are a normal part of 3D manufacturing. We prioritise functional fit, repeatability, and reliable quality checks.
